Our comments

Well what can we say; they are SUPER friendly and kind people who gave us a great welcome. Their rooms are very good and their breakfasts very hearty indeed. You must try David's SUPER porridge it's the GREATEST EVER!!
They have a great store of knowlege of the area so always ask them.
There are some lovely walks around, try the walks in Glencoe Lochan
We will be back sometime. With kind regards Graham & Mary Davies

Glencoe Lochan walks

A 5 mile plus walk, so if you don't want to walk so far you can park your car in the Lochan carpark. Walk up to Glencoe, turn left into the village, then immediately right. just over the bridge is a left hand turning into Glencoe House Estate/Forestry Commission. The story goes that Lord Strathcona had the lochan and surrounding land designed to look like Canada for his homesick wife. There are 3 walks, 1 on the level around the lochan which is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, 2 other paths take you up into the trees but not too high. We found all three walks were very nice with the walk around the lochan very peaceful. These are 3 lovely easy walks too start off your holiday off.
